Michael Saylor, chairman of Strategy (MSTR), the leading public company holding bitcoin, disclosed on Monday via X that his firm purchased 3,273 bitcoins for approximately $255 million. This acquisition, made at an average price of $77,906 per bitcoin, increased Strategy’s total bitcoin holdings to 818,334, according to Saylor.
“As of April 26, 2026, we ‘hodl’ 818,334 BTC acquired for about $61.81 billion at roughly $75,537 each,” he stated on X. Furthermore, Saylor highlighted that Strategy has realized a 9.6% bitcoin yield year-to-date in 2026.
Meanwhile, Matt Cole, CEO and chairman of Strive, also revealed the acquisition of 789 bitcoins for $61.43 million at an average price of $77,890 per bitcoin on Monday. As of April 24th, he confirmed that Strive holds a total of 14,557 BTC, valued close to $1.13 billion.
